The Codan Chat software provides text chat, file transfer, and e-mail data communications over HF. It supports broadcast and peer to peer message delivery as well as foreign languages user interface support. A simple version of text chat is provided when combined with a Codan transceiver enabled with ALE, or full feature text chat/ file transfer/ e-mail when combined with an appropriate Codan HF data modem.
